Offering Walk-and-Talk Therapy
I’m Ashley, and I know that being a human can be hard sometimes. If you struggle with self-confidence, anxiety, setting boundaries, building healthy relationships, or navigating life’s ups & downs, you're not alone. I work with women, adults, and teens, providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges and tap into your own wisdom and strength.

Therapy is an invitation to connect with ourselves.
It is an invitation to explore the full range of our human experience; to lean into the messiness, to uncover beliefs that are keeping us stuck, to develop emotion regulation tools, to practice self-compassion and self-love, and to explore a new way of being. Therapy is an invitation to understand ourselves more deeply and to connect with the most authentic version of ourself.
I’m here to support you on your journey.
Primary Office
Welcome! This is where we’ll work together if you are attending in-person therapy sessions. I am located in the Marina Mart building on the Westlake Trail, a walking & biking path in the heart of Seattle, making this a perfect starting point for Walk-and-Talk therapy sessions. Walking is always an option when you have an in-person appointment scheduled. Meeting at Greenlake for walking sessions can be scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays.
My office has a peek-a-boo view of downtown Seattle and faces the marina where ospreys and other sea birds can often be seen flying and diving about. I share my office with two Naturopathic Doctors inside Elevated Natural Health. We’re on the first floor of the building just inside the main entrance. There is paid parking right in front of the building as well as a Metro bus stop. Please be aware of bikers when crossing the path upon arrival. Water & tea are available in our waiting area. You may be greeted by Millie, the office’s emotional support dog-in-training. If you are not a fan of dogs, please let me know and we will put her outside ahead of your appointment.

Ashley Martin, MA, LMHCA
My approach provides warmth, understanding, and validation, in conversational style sessions. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic methods to most effectively address your needs. This is a collaborative process rooted in the belief that you have the capacity to cultivate the change necessary to live a meaningful, fulfilling life.
We will work together to create a space for inner healing and empowerment where you will be able to cultivate a more authentic relationship with yourself. Through the practice of self-awareness, self-compassion, self-acceptance, and the development of boundaries, coping strategies, and self-regulation tools, we may improve insight, self-worth, and connection to a more peaceful, confident, and empowered self.
My areas of expertise include: women's issues, self-esteem, anxiety, dis-empowerment, cultural identity, life transitions, creating healthy relationships, setting boundaries, parenting, and complex trauma. I also have experience working with neurodivergent populations, particularly ADHD and ASD.
If you are ready to overcome feelings of inadequacy, distress, helplessness, or being stuck, and find greater satisfaction in relationships, both with yourself and others, you’ve already taken the first step just by being here. Contact me to set up a free 20 minute phone consultation.
